Main Camp
Manitoba's Interlake Region, home of the world renowned Delta Marsh and Ducks Unlimited's huge Oak Hammock Marsh. With the largest stopover of Canada Geese at any one time anywhere in North America, the honker hunting is World Class. We also hunt mallards, pintail and a few other species of puddlers over dry fields here with spectacular results!
In main camp, our guided and semi-guided clients have access to our almost 30,000 acres of pre-scouted fields which allows us to move as the birds do and always be in the right area rather than stuck to one specific field or area. Manitoba’s Interlake is a great duck area but dependant on the year, our best duck areas may be anywhere from 10-45 miles from our best goose areas…we follow the water and we find the ducks! We have lived in this area all of our lives and although the duck flyway changes year to year, we will know long before season exactly where the crops and water will combine to give us the best opportunities at each species.

The one variable that we were unable to control before the 2009 season has been looked after, as we have been able to license our new and upgraded 2700 square foot bungalow as a bed and breakfast. This now allows us to manage the quality of service, cleanliness, meals and comfort you receive daily along with all the other aspects of your trip. As an added bonus this new lodging is located just 1 mile off the refuge line of the largest managed waterfowl area and refuge in all of Canada… perhaps North America! During the peak of the migration the Oak Hammock marsh area sees more staged Canada Geese and total waterfowl at one time than any other area in all of North America! The duck and snow goose populations are also fantastic and we have an 80 acre parcel of cropland specifically managed for waterfowl hunting just a mile off the refuge line!
Partial Service Hunt Packages
Our self-guided bed and breakfast clients can literally wake up from their pillow topped mattresses a few minutes before sunrise and walk a few hundred yards out to be in one of the best flights of decoying giant honkers as well as bonus ducks and snow and blue geese you can experience anywhere in North America! Our fully and partially guided groups also have access to the tens of thousands of acres of farmland we have exclusive access to throughout the immediate area. After limiting out on Honkers, a hot breakfast can be just a few hundred yards away! (we actually had a few clients chose to sleep in until 10 am this past fall and still walk out to kill a limit of geese before noon!) West CampThe prairie potholes region of Manitoba, also known as the "duck factory". This camp is a light goose, sandhill crane and puddle duck paradise! We also have some great shooting on the smaller and mid-size Canada Geese in this camp. Hunts are in a combination of dry pea and grain fields interspersed with potholes as well as some small marsh shoots.

Our west camp
offers hunting in Manitoba’s little piece of paradise… the rolling plains and
water of the prairie pothole region! Depending on the timing of your hunt we can
put you on thousands of Sandhill Cranes that blacken the sky, tens of thousands
of Snow and Blue geese that deafen you and make it impossible to think as they
fall squawking and squeeking into the spread stacked up from miles high, a
pothole or marsh shoot of 10+ species of ducks or a fun shoot of the little
Canada’s and cacklers that humble even the most experienced shooters as they cut
and deke into the spread.
